Varicose Veins

Varicose veins affect over 20 million people in the United States, almost 23% of adults. Painful, throbbing, burning, aching veins in the legs can bother one at rest, with activity, and affect your daily life, employment, or exercise regimen. At Precision Vein Care, we can tailor a series of treatments that suits your symptoms, anatomy, and lifestyle goals. From conservative measures to office based procedures, we can help you love your legs again.

Spider Veins

Spider veins are clusters of thread-like veins that while not responsible for severe symptoms, can cause one to be uncomfortable with the appearance of your legs. We can help. Office-based, cosmetic treatments can be performed to improve the appearance of your legs, with no downtime.

Superficial Thrombophlebitis (SVT)

Superficial Thrombophlebitis is a condition where the stagnant blood within a varicose veins clots, and cause inflammation and pain. At Precision Vein Care, we can help guide medical therapy to assist the healing process, and treat the underlying cause with office-based procedures to help ensure you are at low risk for a recurrent episode and further pain.

Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)

DVT, or blood clots, can attack one in every 1000 people, and requires treatment with anticoagulation (blood thinners ) prescribed by your primary care team. Precision Vein Care can assist with follow up ultrasound studies to assess resolution, assist your doctor with determining the duration of anticoagulation therapy, and long term follow-up.

Venous Ulceration

Venous ulcerations occur in the lower extremities, and is the result of excessive pressure in the legs from venous congestion/hypertension, limb edema, skin changes, and wound development. Between 1.5 and 3 per 1000 people in the United States suffers from such wounds, causing pain, need for chronic wound care, and great disability. We can evaluate your venous system with history, clinical exam, wound exam, and ultrasound, and develop a plan to correct the venous insufficiency with office-based procedures that correct venous reflux in either the saphenous or perforator veins, and improve healing times.

Vascular Disease

Vascular disease affects over 200 million people world wide, with neck artery plaque causing strokes, ruptures of abominal aortic aneurysms, and leg artery blockages causing pain and if progressive, limb loss. Precision Vein Care also offers the Vascular "Triple Screen," a series of three vascular laboratory tests that evaluates the carotid arteries in the neck, abdominal aorta, and lower extremity arteries. Each study helps to identify risk of stroke, presence of an aneurysm and rupture risk, and level of leg arterial blockages. These three studies can help a patient and their primary care provider steer referral for further evaluation, treatment, and long term follow-up of vascular disease.
