About Precision Vein Care
James Guzzo, MD, FACS
Dr. Guzzo was born in Bethlehem, PA, and attended college at Lehigh University and Johns Hopkins University, while also playing college football. He then received his MD from the University of Vermont's College of Medicine. This was followed by six years of general surgical residency at University of Maryland Medical System in Baltimore. He completed his training with Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Fellowship at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, also in Baltimore.
He has authored over two dozen peer reviewed journal articles, book chapters, and presentations at national surgical meetings.
Most recently, Dr. Guzzo was employed at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, PA, for nine years, serving as Chief of the Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery. Here he was honored with teaching awards by the surgical residency program and operating room surgical technician training program.
Dr. Guzzo lives with his wife who is also a physician, an anesthesiologist, and their four children; two boys and two girls.
In his spare time, he is a color analyst for Fox Sports Lehigh Valley, doing Lehigh University Football games color commentary.
